From the moment you arrive, the limestone front steps and ornate double doors welcome you into a space where history and sophistication unite. Inside, the original woodworking, grand pocket doors, and intricate fireplaces showcase the mansion’s rich past, while the elegant chandeliers and vintage wallpaper add to the warm, refined ambiance.


Each space within the mansion has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of events, whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a grand celebration.

Mansion Rooms - A Grand Welcome & Intimate Gatherings

The house level offers an inviting setting to welcome guests, host a cocktail hour, or hold a smaller, more intimate event. This space is ideal for:


  • Cocktail Receptions – Create a natural flow for guests with a satellite bar, appetizer stations, and standing pub tables spread across the mansion’s elegant rooms.
  • Bridal & Baby Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, and Milestone Celebrations – The Large Parlor comfortably seats up to 50 guests at round tables while leaving room for a buffet and bar in adjacent rooms.
  • Pre-Wedding Gatherings – A perfect space for bridal parties or small receptions before moving into the main event area.

The Mezzanine - A Unique Overlook with a Stunning View

Step out onto the mezzanine level, where guests are treated to one of the best seats in the house. Here, your event unfolds from a bird’s-eye view of the main event space, offering a truly one-of-a-kind experience.


The Mezzanine accommodates:


  • Seven round tables, seamlessly blending into the reception space below.
  • 240-person weddings by adding additional seating while maintaining a clear view of the dance floor and main celebration area.


This level creates an elevated perspective for guests, photographers, and videographers, ensuring your event is captured beautifully.

Ballroom - Where Celebrations Come to Life

The grand staircase leads down to the breathtaking main event space, where historic architecture meets modern luxury.


It’s impossible to choose just one show-stopping feature:


  • The dazzling crystal chandelier hanging from the uniquely diamond-patterned ceiling.
  • The built-in bar with a glowing backlit liquor display, where our staff serves your guests’ favorite drinks.
  • The speckled flooring, polished to perfection, making it the ideal surface for your first dance.


This space is designed for flexible layouts, comfortably accommodating:


  • 20 round tables with additional space for a buffet, dance floor, DJ setup, cake table, and photo station.
  • Up to 240 guests, ensuring that celebrations can be as grand as your vision.


For your convenience, the mansion also includes a catering prep space with refrigeration, freezer, water access, and ice, allowing your preferred caterer to operate efficiently.

Bridal Suite - Coming Soon

Our newly renovated Bridal Suite at Mansion 1886 is the perfect sanctuary for the bride and her closest loved ones to relax and prepare for the big day. This elegant space features a private bathroom, a spacious area for hair and makeup, complete with comfortable seating, mirrors, and ample lighting to ensure the bride and bridal party are picture-perfect. The suite also includes a convenient kitchenette area with a sink and mini fridge, ideal for keeping food and drinks fresh—perfect for light bites and refreshments before the ceremony. Designed for both functionality and relaxation, this suite provides a peaceful retreat where cherished moments can be shared among the bride, her family, and her bridal party as they prepare for an unforgettable celebration.

  • Newly renovated restrooms on both the house and main levels.
  • Handicap-accessible entrance at the side of the venue.
  • 49 on-site parking spaces and ample free street parking nearby. (And yes, if any guests celebrate a little too much, they’re encouraged to leave their car overnight.)

  • Available for weekend bookings within 90 days of event date (March – October) or anytime (November – February).
